While most people reading today’s post won’t be going anywhere near their motorcycle (not with much of the US and Canada experiencing a full dose of winter), those of us who work in the motorcycle industry have been surrounded by bikes and aftermarket parts and accessories for two solid weeks now. As you may have read, many of Performance Machine’s staff members were in Cincinnati last week for V-Twin Expo, while this week, a group of us are in Indianapolis for the 42nd Annual Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo.
From its humble beginnings in the mid-1960s, Dealer Expo has become a preeminent gathering place for everyone who works in the powersports industry, and for PM, this show — more than nearly any other — gives our staff the chance to interact with the very motorcycle dealers and retailers who serve you in your local communities.
Representing PM at this year’s Dealer Expo in Indianapolis:
- Ted Sands, National Sales Manager
- Lee Nissen, Inside Technician
- Kelli Murrow, Sales and Marketing Manager
- Muhammad Patel, Director of Manufacturing
Like last week’s show in Cincinnati, Dealer Expo is closed to the public, but if you or your local dealers are planning on attending the show, be sure to stop by and say hello. When you do, check out the complete lineup of PM parts and accessories for 2010, grab yourself a 2010 catalog, and snap a picture or two of our 40th Anniversary Bagger and the Performance Machine Trike.
PM is located in booth #1419 inside the main exhibit hall of the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Dealer Expo runs from Friday, Feb. 12 thru Monday, Feb. 15. For exact hours and information about the show, visit the Dealer Expo Show Hours page.
